Noble Tennis School

We are pleased tennis instruction will be delivered once again by the Noble Tennis School. The School operates under the Leadership of Tony Roth, one of the most qualified and recognized tennis professionals in the nation. Tony is certified at the Coach 4 level, and was the Tennis Professionals Association 2005 Canadian Coach of the year. The Noble School will offer a comprehensive set of programs for all ages and levels, delivered with the enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism that have made the Noble Tennis School a great success.

Carlo Zambri, a senior staff member within the NTS and a professional with many years of experience at seasonal clubs, will act as Tennis Director for RLTC and will have general responsibility for the Noble School Programs at the Club.

Bosco Fernandes - Head Tennis Professional

Bosco is the full-time Teaching Professional at the RLTC and a senior staff member with the OAC and Noble Tennis School. Bosco has over 19 years of experience in teaching tennis, and is a certified Professional with the USPTR /PTR, one of the world leaders in tennis coaching. Before his move to Ottawa, one year ago, he had been teaching steadily in Toronto at a variety of clubs. Bosco is known for his extreme enthusiasm and supportiveness as a teacher. He has a wealth of knowledge related to junior development programs, and is highly knowledgeable and qualified to meet the needs of all ages and levels of players. Bosco employs the Noble Tennis teaching methodology, complemented by the International Modern method of the PTR. He himself started playing tennis in 1977 and has competed in International & entry level Professional Tennis tournaments.


Dan Vila - Assistant Professional & Junior Summer Camp Director

As a junior player in Mexico, Dan trained and competed in local and national tournaments. His coaching career began in 2006 at the Noble Tennis School, under the mentorship of nationally renowned Tennis Director, Tony Roth. Since then Dan has been an integral part of the junior programs, and has been teaching a wide range of playing levels and age groups. In 2008 he was appointed summer tennis Camp Coordinator at the OAC, and the camps proved extremely successful under his leadership.

Dan’s qualifications include: Tennis Canada Instructor Level 1, National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Coach Level "B", Personal Fitness Trainer, and Standard First Aid + Level C CPR. He is available for individual and group lessons with all ages and levels of player, as well as fitness training and as a hitting partner for advanced and competitive junior players.
